I love Forever 21!

 Wow, this is a downright shame. The frequence of my blogposts, it really is a shame. At the moment I am really busy with my study, work but also going out for dinner, parties, lunches and other things that are not too bad. Which results in no time to take pictures and write blogposts. But.. last week I went to Antwerp, because I have 3 girlsfriends living and studying there, and one them was celebrated her birthday. And of course the day after we went to Forever21, so that's what I wanted to share with you! I bought 2 blouses and a little black jacket. And that's not all, one of my girlfriends had a new purchase that she wasn't completely content with. A really pretty green oversized but also a bit fitted blazer from Zara. I tried it on and she said it fitted me way better than it did her, so now the beauty is mine :).

As you can see I am quite the fake leather-lover. And also studs, can't get enough of those! Bought a leopard belt with studs a while ago that I also haven't shown you guys yet, I have so much you show and tell you guys!

Bummer!

Mehh, I am so disappointed right now! Remember my order at Nelly.com? The shoes and the skirt in sale? Received the package today but it only included the skirt! The shoes apparently were out of stock when packing my order. Bummer, just when I thought I had found the perfect basic black sandals.. And that's not all, the skirt doesn't fit! It's a size Small (and I had my doubts when ordering) and it seems it should have been a size Medium.

Because I was so sorry for myself I treated myself with a leather jacket. A nice, basic, real leather one. I own a fake leather jacket that I still have the hots for (this one), but sometimes I find it a bit too short in the back. This one;

By the way, if you're interested in the skirt, of course I am willing to sell it to you. I will wait for a few days with sending it back.

On its way - Nelly.com

A few days ago I placed an order at Nelly.com. I have been searching for a (fake) leather skirt for ages. Some of you might know I already own one (wearing it here) but it's kinda getting too small for me, or I'm getting too big for the skirt.. Aaanyway, I was searching for another one. Both of my purchases were found in Sale, so prices were low.. very low!


This is the Lina skirt, half fake leather and half not. Down from 34,95 to 9,95. Hope it will fit!


These basic beauties are called 'Aia' and were down from 44,95 to 14,95. They're the perfect shoe when you're off to a party, a night out with the girls, or a lovely diner with the boyfriend. They look like they walk like little angels so I am really curious! I know my timing to order sandals is the worst, since we're looking at fall in a few weeks, but I don't really care!

Of course I will show you these black babies when they're here!

Better late than never

As I said, better late than never... Since I wore this outfit on sundays last week. Me and my friends went to a kind of festival/party and this is what I wore. Casual and comfortable, it was so hot that day! The shirt I am wearing is a shirt I stole from my boyfriend because it didn't fit him anymore, lucky me! Tucked in in the shorts, folded the sleeves and good to go!

I think these boots don't get what they deserve. They've been standing in my closet for months since I last wore them in february I guess? That was when I combined them in my Pocahontas inspired look, see here. Need to wear these more often, and I will. And that's a promise.

Cinemagraphs

This is something that I discovered a few days ago and I love it! It's an animated GIF format that contains still parts and moving parts and the moving parts are repeated constantly.

I know it's not too innovative and it's been used for a while now, but I'm impressed! Makes me wanna try it immediatly, although I think I wouldn't have the skills in photoshop to do it myself.. Which luckily for me, is no problem because  an app (download here)that gives you the opportunity to experiment your ass off. It's called cinemagram, kind of like Instagram only way cooler ;)!

Colorful grey

 

Wow, it feels like ages ago that I shared something with you guys! Been really busy, or maybe I should rather not call it busy, cause I'm talking about vacation en enjoying the sun! Went to Turkey with the boyfriend to  detox completely and relax to the max!

I can't promise to keep you posted on a frequent base but I' ll do my best. It's just that last week I started a minor in Informatien Strategy for this semester and it's already taking so much of my free time!

Amyway, today I was wearing a quit simple and comfortable outfit. I wore a simple grey jeans and a grey blended oversized top. Matched my nails with the beaded necklace with a new nail polish that I bought at Pieces. Hope you like it!

New in: Converse Allstars (again)

In my previous post I already spilled that I wanted to tell you something about Converse Allstars. Well, now is the time to tell you how I got my second pair for almost free.

I few days ago I went shopping with the boyfriend when we came across a store with the biggest and a kind of weird sale. They sold all their shoes that weren't saleable for whatever reason. The sale contained a whole lot of pairs that consisted of two different sizes, shoes without laces, 'pairs' with only one shoe and last but not least pairs of which the color of one shoe had faded. And that last example was for me. You see,  I dredged up a beige right one of a pair of Allstars. Which (my fellow readers probably know) I own in black and is my favorite pair of shoes at the moment. It had a little tag on it that said "Color faded, 65,95 14,95". But I couldn't notice any discolouring. I went to ask and the girl behind the counter showed me the left shoe, it was indeed darker. The right shoe had been standing in de window for a while and lost colour because of the sun.

I tried them on and they seriously fit like a glove, which was of course quite predictable because it was exactly my size. I knew I would be foolish to leave them, so I took 'em home with me and put the left shoe in the sun, to let it's colour fade.

And now, the sun has already made a big progress but they're not quite the same colour yet, since it's been rainy around here for two days. I need sun! I want that left shoe to fade and I need a tan ;)..

I am so curious if it will succeed, you? You'll see them walking by on the blog when they're good to go!

Outfit: Zara Dress - Yellow Summer

Told you guys I'd be wearing the dress from the previous post called Dark Paradise in a whole different way. It's almost a week ago that I wore this but I didn't find the time to post the pictures. I was very busy enjoying the sun last week. It almost felt like summer ;)..

 

 So about the look I wore, I topped it off with a denim jacket (that was very unneccessary because of the heat), Converse All Stars (talking about Converse, I have to tell you something about that to, but later on..) and yellow details like a necklace and watch.

Outfit: Zara Dress - Dark paradise

Another outfit today, this is what I wore yesterday. I'm wearing my new dress bought at Zara sale. It's hard to show the pretty details of the dress in the pictures but the back is partly shine-through and the front is a little shorter than the back. Been looking for a dress like this for such a long time. I wanted a dress that I can wear chique but also laid-back. It's the perfect dress in a suitcase when on vacation. It can be worn with a belt around the waist, an eyecather-necklace and heel to have diner in the evening or for a party like I did yesterday. But it can also be topped off without a belt, with flipflops and a summerhat. Or with Converse Allstars and a denim jacket. Or with strappy sandals and a big vest for the chillier evenings on the boulevard. OK, I could go on an on about this, to show you what I mean I'll wear it tomorrow again but in a way different style. And maybe again later this week, and again, and again..

Wore a totally comfortable outfit today. The shorts used to be an old jeans with the weirdest fit, have never worn it. Until I cut of the (flared) legs off to turn it into shorts. Love it eversince! Combined it with a nice and soft sweater that used to be my boyfriends but didn't fit him any more. Cut out the collar to make it an off-shoulder and wore a scarf for a headband to give it a spicy twist in color. So all DIY today!
